ALCOHOL is not often described as a drug due
to the fact that is so commonly available
|
It is however one on the world's greatest
drug abuse problems and affects more people than all people affected by all
other drugs put together
|
ALCOHOL is available in so many forms today,
from liquor (beer / spirits / whisky / liqueur / wine) to cough
mixtures to many other medical preparations. Alcohol is the
most widely used dissolving agent after purified water used in
medication, even in ear drops
|
The liquor alcohol is produced by fermenting
and distilling fruit or grains or vegetables

resulting in (initially) relaxation and (eventually) loss of
coordination, poor muscle control, blurred vision, nausea,
vomiting and eventually sleep
